Retroactive Grant Application - Zcash Community Mining Lab: Powering Privacy Infrastructure + Youth Leadership

Over 26 years, our 501c3 nonprofit has helped more than 2,000 boys and girls participate in sports, with over 300 earning college scholarships, including a McDonald’s All-American. Through our mining initiative & international outreach started in 2023, we have created a mini crypto farm, allowing us to engage over 200 girls in camps integrating sports training with financial literacy, financial independence, & introductions to cryptocurrency, financial privacy, and the importance of protecting their financial futures. Our innovative model creates potential pathways to expanding Zcash awareness and participation while developing the next generation of financially empowered, privacy-conscious leaders in the United States and abroad. Our proposal requests $550,000 in retroactive funding for work already completed and verifiable between November 2023 and October 2026.
