Swap ETH to XMR: The Fast One-Step Route (No Account Needed)

ERC20 balances convert to Monero in one order. Networks, minimums, and what the rate looks like.

If you hold ETH on Ethereum mainnet, converting to Monero takes a single order — no wrapping, no intermediate tokens. At the time of writing, 1 ETH gets you roughly 4.7 XMR (check the live quote; it moves with the market).

How it works: 1) Enter your ETH amount and XMR receiving address; 2) the quote locks at order creation — what you see is what you get; 3) send ETH to the order's deposit address; 4) XMR arrives at your wallet automatically, typically within 10–30 minutes.

Watch the network field. ETH exists on many chains (Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, BSC as WBNB-pegged tokens...). Pick the network your wallet actually sends from — a mismatch is the #1 cause of stuck deposits. On VeilSwap both the coin and the network are separate selectors before you commit.

Gas note: Ethereum mainnet sends can cost more in gas than small-amount swaps are worth. If you only hold a small ETH balance, doing the swap from a cheaper network (Arbitrum, Base) — or converting ETH to a stablecoin first and swapping on a low-fee pair — often nets you more XMR at the end. (XMR to USDT exit)

Same hygiene rules as any privacy swap: fresh Monero receiving address, funds untouched by KYC rails, wallet you control. The chain does its part; make sure yours does too.

Frequently asked questions

Why did my ETH deposit get stuck?

Almost always a network mismatch — ETH exists on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, BSC and more. Pick the network your wallet actually sends from; a mismatch is the #1 cause of stuck deposits.

Is mainnet ETH worth it for small swaps?

Often no — mainnet gas can cost more than the swap is worth. If you only hold a small amount, send from an L2 or use an L2-wrapped route.
